What is your role? Explain your day-to-day.

My role as a real estate salesperson is selling residential and lifestyle property. We’re in the business of “Making deals and moving people”. No two days are the same.

How long have you worked here?

I began my real estate career with Robert Angus Real Estate five years ago.

When did you get into real estate and what do you enjoy most about it?

It’s been an interesting five years of learning and growing, the most enjoyable aspect of real estate is all the interesting people you get to meet. There is a lot of satisfaction when you connect people with a property, and it just clicks. This provides a great sense of achievement.

What do you love about working in the West End Precinct?

Gosh there are so many great reasons to love working so close to great coffee and food. When meeting with clients they always comment on the White Hart, they often have fond memories. It’s so easy to have a client catch up over good coffee. And of course, all the friendly people that work within this space.

Best place to eat in New Plymouth?

Funny we just had a discussion about this, and we really enjoy Meat and Liquor.

Best spot you have lived?

I’m a Naki girl, This is home! We have lived in England but found New Plymouth the best place for us to raise a family.

Best travel spot?

Cook Islands

Best achievement?

Completing my first half marathon. Its all just one step in front of the other.

How do you find the juggling of motherhood and work?

Oliver is older now and it seems a bit of a blur but it’s a team effort or you all burn out. Life is busy. I found it important to find balance and being present when you have time together and make memories. Great support from great friends. It does teach you the importance of good planning a very useful skill in real estate.

If you were stranded on a deserted island what are three things you would take?

This suggests I have the time to plan, so I’m thinking Sun lounger, Large waterproof beach umbrella and endless supply of pina colada.

Favourite film?

War Horse

Favourite book?

I don’t have a firm favourite just anything inspiring with a good plot twist and a wee bit of romance…..
