What is your role? Explain your day-to-day.

Bar manager at Ms White. I basically get to scout the land of the long white cloud for interesting beers and ciders to try and get my hands on.

How long have you worked here?

Started working for the company in April when I moved from Wanaka.

What do you love about working in hospitality?

Hospo is an ever-changing roller coaster of emotions that allows me to travel the world and meet people from all walks of life

How do you travel to work?

Pop the headphones in and take the short stroll into the “office”

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

Ski, snowboard, diving, naps, hiking, going to the beach, casual drinking, traveling and cooking.

Favourite pizza topping?

Let’s be honest, cheeses and cured meats make the world a better place.

Are you a dog or cat person?

I am very very much a dog person. I miss my good boy, Hank.

Tell us your favourite spot in New Plymouth and why?

The coastal walkway. I really missed the ocean having lived in Wanaka for the past few years. Running on the shore, watching the waves, going down to back beach is pretty great.

Best travel spot?

I’ve done quite a lot of traveling all over the world but lately, not being able to travel, I really really miss the flavours and colours of Asia, specifically India.

If you were stranded on a deserted island what are three things you would take?

Tequila, a machete, and a snorkel.
